Educational tour to the ARAMIS laser equipment production facility

13.01.2022 within the framework of the Open Doors Day and the Program on training of technical personnel an excursion was held for teachers and students of 1 and 3 courses of Cherkassy State Technological University, specialty Novel Machining Technologies.

In course of the visit, the students familiarized themselves with the complete process of creating high-tech laser equipment. Stage by stage they visited the machining section, the optics laboratory, the electrical installation department and the final assembly section, after which they saw the finished equipment in operation.

Specialists of each production section told about the specificity of their work and the design features of the main units of laser complexes.

The linear motors and optical laser heads of the cutting systems turned out to be of particular interest.

During the visit, the students not only saw the process of laser cutting and engraving , but also familiarized themselves with a robotic laser welding machine and a laser metal cleaning machine.

At the same time, some of the visitors even managed to try to work on the equipment and clean the rust off a real part.

The speed and precision of cutting, as well as the simplicity of the welding and cleaning process, has caused sincere delight not only among the students, but also among the faculty members of the University.

In the course of the visit an agreement was reached on production apprenticeship at the enterprise for the best students of the university.
