Rapid development of the metalworking industry has not only contributed to the increase in the production of laser metal cutting equipment, but also highlighted another important task for the industry – training of personnel capable of properly operating equipment of such complexity. Today, the Ukrainian labor market lacks such specialists, despite the continuous growth of demand for them.
LACK OF QUALIFIED SPECIALISTS AT ENTERPRISES OF THE INDUSTRY RESULTS IN:
- Improper operation of laser systems;
- Decrease in equipment productivity;
- Overconsumption of process gases;
- Pretimely failure of consumable elements;

The consequences of unprofessional equipment operation most frequently result in increase of production cost; unpredictable suspension of equipment operation and the production process respectively, until the problem is resolved by the service department.

The training course program was developed by the competent experts of the manufacturer company’s scientific and technical center: experienced technologists, engineers and other specialists of ARAMIS LLC science, research and development departments.
The methodology of the training course is a set of in-depth theoretical and applied (practical) knowledge that assures provision of high-quality training to specialists for further work with laser equipment for metal cutting.
The theoretical course consists of basic disciplines, including:
- Study of laser cutting technology;
- Study of technological parameters of the cutting process;
- Design and principles of operation of the laser machine and additional equipment of the complex;
- Using of Metalix software;
- Selection of cutting parameters for machining of main structural materials, etc.
Practical classes are held using AFX and LTC laser machining stations on ARAMIS production sites in Ukraine.
Upon completion of the training course, future specialists are certified in the form of testing and receive a certificate according to their specialization as either “ARAMIS laser systems technologist” or “ARAMIS laser systems operator”.
